NVC In Transit
Recieved the “in transit” notification with NVC case number, when should I expect the Welcome Letter? Is it after doing the DS-160? or do I need to wait?

@Inés Arcentales the NVC responded to me saying they shipped my case on 7/3 and any questions I have I need to ask the embassy. But my question is is what they sent me with my new case number the Welcome Letter or is there another email/letter I need to wait for?

@Inés Arcentales In Transit status. I was able to get in contact with someone and they said it’s shipped out so just needs to arrive to the embassy now ☺️

@kwabena Agyekum That doesn’t apply for K1 Visas. We submit all of our documents with the initial petition, the secondary round of documents is at the actual interview.

@u s thanks! the timeline states that are creating cases that they received on June 8th as of July 3rd update. My case was received on June 14th and I haven’t received welcome letter from nvc
