How many migrants are you sponsoring? how many people are in your household ? If your household is just you and the person you are sponsoring them your income should not be less than $22,287. The number of people you are sponsoring plus your household size will determine how much income is required from you. i can help you more if you can share if your case but that’s if you are ok with it

I am sponsoring just for my spouse. Only I am in my household. In 2022, I’ll be making more than what’s on I-864P Federal Poverty Guideline, so I don’t understand why they would write a review note saying I need to seek a joint sponsor.

JD did you submit your i130 and i864 together or separate?

they just need copies of your most recent tax transcripts which is the year 2021. if you read the I-864 well, is an optional to inlclude 2020 and 2019 tax transcript. If you made more than the poverty line in this most recent tax year then you are good

your I-130 must be approved before you can file I-864 @Az A

they check 2 year income or 3 year ...I got same msg but my 2 year income good but 2019 less...so what u thing what I have to do?

misty khan this was my issue my 2019 income did not meet requirement but my 2020 and 2021 was well over the amount and they still made me get a Sponsor even though i met the requiremmets for the last 2 years I just thank God i had someone to do that for me..

no you don’t have to bring the sponsor to interview as long he signed the tax transcript you are using

I mean I already documents qualified I have next month interview....buy before documents qualified they send me msg need joint sponser and 2 massage is proof my income...I just did proof my income not joint sponser but after they did documents qualified...so my question is they will ask about joint sponser ???if they ask I can bring in interview join sponser??or not

misty khan I think you should be able to bring the joint sponsor documents with you to the interview it’s better to be safe then sorry

since you ready dq’d just being the papers because your i terview is already scheduled at this point no need to upload it to the NVC Website in my point of view but i would also do my research if i where you just to be safe maybe like ask a lawyer or the embassy your interview is being held at

if the joint sponsors documents you uploaded is being approved and interview is scheduled then there’s no need to take anything unless your interview ask to bring Original copies of your documents

cole andy she didn’t upload any sponsor documents even though she got an email telling her too she just uploaded her proof of income but she said they dq’d her so she seems she is fine to me not to bring a sponsor to the interview but if it makes her feel better about her interview then bring it it’s better to be safe then sorry.

I ask my lawyer too she said dint need joint sponser.....but I don't have trust on my lawyer to something she is right some time not so....that'swy I got before rfe too because of my lawyer

I’ve done this before and you don’t need to take any joint sponsor with you. You have to show the income of the joint sponsor to see the if the person can support you. that’s what the joint sponsor means. if she didn’t provide documents of the joint sponsor then how did the person proved the joint sponsor is qualified to support the case? @LaTravia Chima

misty khan.. pls let your joint sponsor sign the affidavit document with all three yrs tax transcipts and current income.. then take the documents(not your sponsor himself) to the interview.. you will be fine. cheers

Misty, you’re wasting time here. No one here will be able to help you because your situation is unique. You need to use the NVC PUBLIC INQUIRY FORM and ask them to clarify this for you.
