some country’s like Central America take 1-2 months Mexico takes 1-2 years only thing you can do call your country US embassy they may help you I see they help others to set up an appointment

The site says it takes 2.5 months after DQ to get appointment. I'm waiting for my hubby too for Lagos interview.

@Let Love Lead My husband was Dq for IR1 visa December 2022. We believe he is next in line to get an interview this month for the Lagos Consulate. Last month interviews were released for December 2022. they didn't finish the month.

@Let Love Lead. I follow 2 Facebook groups. When people receive their interview letters. they post on the Facebook group page to let everyone know. This helps people who are waiting to see their progress. In the middle of last month the Consulate in Lagos were sending out interview letters. The people who received letters were documentarily qualified November and December of 2022. I believe sometime this month they will send out another batch of letters. This batch will finish for the documentarily qualified ones of December 2022 and possibly go into January of 2023.

@Becky E wow! so you are saying after been Documentarily Qualified it can take months before getting your interview letters! even in Nigeria also ?? cos I know it takes long and sometimes a year or more in other countries to receive their interview letter, country like Mexico! is that what it means and is that what you are trining to say??

@Let Love Lead 💛 when my husband was first Documentarily qualified Nigeria was about 15 months behind to receive their interviews. Now it is about 10 months. my husband from Nigeria was thinking we should move our consulate to a less busy one like Lome, Togo does anyone have any feedback on this idea?
