NVC - Albania Embassy interview dates

Hi everyone i got DQ in June 30 2023, my PD is October 5th 2021, Embassy Albania. Final Action date in the Visa Bulletin is November 2021, meaning my case is before the final action date. NVC says that when the priority date is before the final action date we are elgible for a visa interview, however It’s been a year that i’m waiting for the email with the interview date and still nothing. does anyone know when they send out the interview dates? please answer

hey @Geralda Lushaj the welcome letter from the NVC should come about 1-2 weeks after your case was approved from USCIS. I got my welcome letter 4 days after my case was approved. After you finish summiting all your documents to the NVC it should be approved in about 1-2 weeks as well. for the interview date, it depends on what country the interview will take place. usually the wait time is a couple of months. I’ve been waiting for an interview letter for my husband for 2 months now. hope this helps!

thanks Fatima. i got all approved from USCIS. Got Documentarily Qualified from NVC on June 30th 2023. i have been waiting for an jnterview since then, almost 1 year without the interview date - Albania Embassy

@Geralda Lushaj How it is possible to get DQ from NVC when you didn’t get the welcome letter? Are you sure you got DQ and don’t have to file any other form?

i wrote welcome letter by mistake - i meant the interview date email that i am waiting for

@Geralda Lushaj I’ve heard all embassy’s are backed up with interview dates 😏 almost a year and a half ago my brother in law got his interview letter 2 weeks after his dq date. I thought we would be getting one really soon but I guess not. looking at a 8-12 month wait
