Nugget of the day!
I’ve seen some people ask about the delays and such after an interview . so here is a nugget
USCIS will not approve an I-485 (Adjustment of Status) application until your background checks are fully cleared. These checks include:
• FBI name check
• FBI fingerprint check (biometrics)
• Inter-agency criminal and national security checks (e.g., with DHS, DEA, CIA, etc.)
Even if everything else in your application is perfect (interview done, documents correct, etc.), USCIS cannot move forward with an approval until those security checks are complete. In rare cases, delays in these checks can hold up a decision for months or longer.

guess this is what’s happening to me because my b biometric was waived for my work permit and last week I had to do fingerprints over @Jesus is King and my interview was a breeze
