@survivor p I filed my I-485 the same time as my vawa. and they denied it in 2024

@filler 2022 yes they did approve it may 2024, I think my lawyer did because I called the Immigration in July/ August to see what was going on with my case.

sorry I-360 is in process I sent them rfe in 2024 and they received it last year June they still reviewing the information

@Blessings On Blessings Hi, yess and it is still the same but on Saturday I got a letter to appear because I overstayed. so I also don’t know what’s going on I sent the information to my lawyer so I’ll let you know what my attorney says after I talk to her tomorrow. this is very confusing.

@Blessings On Blessings they did denied so I got a lawyer to appeal so after I sent rfe and they are still reviewing it. I applied for I-485 the same time when I was applying for vawa. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say..

me too i received the notice to appear in court,you need to take a good lawyer so he or she will explain to them that you are in process of vawa.

if your VAWA is still processing when you finally get to court(or wherever you've been told to appear) just tell them that. You might need to look into VAWA removal cancellation.

@R P🐻 I’ll do that and once again thank you so much for opening my eyes even more. I did a research using ChatGPT and it also opened my eyes on another level. God bless you. I do have all the original documents from USCIS, and will make copies before my appeal. My attorney does specialize with deportation cases too so she’s really good, she helped someone I know and the person is the one who recommended her to me like 4 years ago, so with the new administration it is a tough because they are now using anything against anyone at this point honestly. I am trusting in the Lord at this moment to do his will in this situation. I know he will make a way for me and I have FAITH AND HOPE. I had a different lawyer in the beginning of my case so I just started using this one in 2024 because of another issues. I honestly appreciate you pointing all this important points out for me, I love your honesty so much.
