my interview was August 23 2021 but I didn’t showed up because my wife was out of the country. my case still not rescheduled or decision wasn’t made and it’s now 5 months. my case is in New York. any idea guys.

i didn’t show. i didn’t call. and my case still running. it’s 5 months now and I didn’t receive any decision from uscis. do u think I will be reschedule or my case will be close and I have to open it again ?

i sent them the proof that my wife is not in the country. i sent them her plan ticket. guess that’s why they didn’t close my case

You should try to reschedule. You are at risk of having your case denied and being placed in removal proceedings.

Call this number: (800) 375-5283. The automated system will give you the runaround so simply say “infopass”. You will be connected to a tier 1 agent. Explain your situation, they may or may not be able to give you full details. If not, tell them you would like to speak with a tier2 officer. They may be able to transfer you or setup a callback.
