Normal processing to premium processing
Hello friends
,
It’s been about five months since I filed my EB2 NIW petition, which was assigned to the Nebraska Service Center. I’ve noticed that the normal processing times keep increasing. Has anyone here switched from normal processing to premium processing? How was the experience, and what results did you get?
I’ve read mixed opinions—some say upgrading to premium processing can trigger an RFE because USCIS wants more time, while others recommend it due to the growing wait times.
I’d really appreciate any advice or insights. Thanks so much! 🙏🏻

@Amrith L Do not try PP if your profile is not strong enough. otherwise it might trigger RFE.

@Sa O understood thanks. right now it’s realistically 20 month wait with Nebraska.

I did the upgrade last December and got approval the day 44/45 and I don't regret at all luckly.
