my personal experience, I received RFE for my i129f petition on October 6,2025 and I never knew where to start from as I was confused about what to do, so I hire a lawyer and luckily my petition got approved in 15 days from the USCIS received it from my lawyer

@Sheero Laura what was the RFE for and what did you submit? is this your initial application through marriage?

@Sheero Laura You need to hire a really good attorney immediately. Do not attempt to fix this on your own.

@M L I submitted joint documents like bank statements, leases, insurance, photos , affidavits from friends, communication logs

i had i noid before i sent joint bank accounts, insurance, dental insurance, accident we were together, photos , affidavit from friends family , mail showing both names on our address, taxes for 2 years , birthday cards we sent to each other, car rental both names , lease with both names , after we submitted it we received an interview but as we were waiting for our turn in the field office they came and told us they couldn’t pull out our file due to technical issues, and since one and half year waiting for the interview @Sheero Laura

@lulu 369 I don’t think it’s due to technical issues, they just buy time to see if the marriage is true.

@Nenwon Nenwon my lawyer told me to gather all the documents in RFE and then go meet with him for more guidance, only for him to check it externally and say ‘ yea it looks good without going through every single paper in the folder. I felt wasted ! I eventually ended reviewing on my own and sent it. some lawyers are a mess!

@Sheero Laura did you already responded to the NOID. I sent in my respond in December way before due day and never received any update till a couple days ago to “response received.” I didn’t get a lawyer for the exact reason you stated with the help of ChatGPT I rebutted every allegation in NOID and sent all evidence I had about 500 pages.

@Sheero Laura evidence for proof of bonafide. leases, affidavit letters from friends family, car insurance, ids with same address, utilities bill, tax joints, Sam’s membership card for both and shows opening date, photos,phone bills and stuff I don’t remember right now. but anything I had prove bonafide
