NOID letter sent to old address
Got an NOID addressed to USC spouse petitioner on our 2 year anniversary. letter was sent to address we lived in 2 years ago which doesn't make sense because we had changed address to new place with uscis and even received mail from them in New address. my question is : is this a plot to look for a reason to deny or because am from an African country that has red flags. NOID was because I omitted an address and spouse pay stud of 2020 showed single.

@ rocco got rfe for my i485 which I responded to since June only for my spouse petitioner to get the NOID for i130..

I got a NOID on my 130 after we filed a lawsuit. my husband is a USC but he was married in a African country the place he was born. we send the response with our lawyer a month ago no response from USCIS. my lawyer says it is good because we have proof that it was delivered. don’t know what to think

Oh they will go above and beyond to get your case approved. Hacking law firm is great. As long as your husband’s divorce decree from Africa is genuine then you are good to go

@Ann, why did they request for evidence of previous marriage? did you not show a valid divorce document for that? just curious

they didn’t ask for divorce degree they asked for customary divorce from witnesses (family) that signed after the divorce was completed in court

yes we had it and we send it also we send a letter from the judge and motera as confirmation and nothing yet
