I’m confused because it’s not showing what I need to submit to proof the validity but I have a deadline till June. what to do? do I need to get a lawyer?

@s l talk to the people of the apartment complex to give you a letter that you live there and your lease is active! try to submit proof of that! in the NOID they have to told you what they need from you! or better talk to a lawyer better

@s l ,
Sorry! All you need is to reach out to your apartment lease office with a copy of the letter. Have them correct the "mistake " and the number and Individual to contact for clarity. Pls do it ASAP.

I received NOID 2 years ago so review the notice carefully, as it will indicate exactly what the petitioner is required to be provide before the specified deadline, if you have an attorney work with him on this.

@Haruna Mohammed was your cased approved after you responded to the noid?

which state was your interview ?

Please don’t be stressed! As @Haruna Mohammed stated read carefully the NOID and respond. I too, got a NOID 2 years ago and we just gave USCIS everything they asked for as well as the kitchen sink. Less than a week later, if I’m remembering correctly, my application was approved. We did NOT use a lawyer. If your case is straight forward and there are no criminal charges or records in the immigrant’s background you can do this process without the need of a lawyer. I am currently awaiting on my I-751 application.

@Curious One they didn’t specify what they wanted guess we just have to submit everything again

@s l that’s very very odd! You mentioned something about your lease…Is there anyway you can share your letter and redact the personal info so we can get an idea as to why they are issuing a NOID? Our letter was extensive and listed lack of evidence then stated many points of evidence they wanted submitted. Your NOID is very odd in my opinion😕🤔How do you defend yourself if you’re unable to determine how you are being attacked comes to my mind. Hope you can find a way to get an approval!

@Curious One they mention the lease, in addition to lack of evidence. but didn’t specify what evidence they wanted. just gave a deadline for a month. what evidence did you send in Ure response?
Curious OneMay 4, 2025
@s l Strange🧐We sent them EVERYTHING and more than they asked for. They asked for affidavits from 2, we sent them 6 for example. Well if they were not specific with you send what they stated about the lease as well as evidence. Send proof that you are married. Photos, joint accounts, both names on bills, joint CCs and perhaps notarized affidavits from where you worship for example. Hope this helps!

@s l There are clearly things in your application that they do not like or have serious suspicions of you. You could ask the leasing company to write you a letter and address the error. If they will not do this, send them utility bills, any proof of rent payment.
When you send your reply, send as much as possible. Got sworn affidavits. They can be notorized for pretty cheap, call around. Send photos bank statements, more photos.

@Kingsley B the leasing agent won’t write a letter but the gave me lease for all the years I’ve live there and you gave me an idea, I’m going to print and attach all the payment confirmation I’ve received from my apartment to the lease documents as well
s lMay 14, 2025
we are resubmitting notarized affidavits, lease, light bill, joint account, statement, our Sam’s card, car insurance, pictures from wedding to current, photo ids with same address, rental insurance.

@s l everything you are submitting is great. You are able to prove a real marriage and cohabitation. I am sorry that you are having to do all of this. The process is much harder for some people and easier for others.
s lMay 14, 2025
@Kingsley B there is more that I could submit but I was told sending way too much can be a red flag as well
Kingsley BMay 15, 2025
@s l I just replied to your other post about using a lawyer. Yes, sending too much is not good. This hole process is frustrating. I wish you the best.
