when was it transffered to the non local field office ?

@Ahmed Ah They didn't gave me that information. I asked for it but they said this is an internal info. but the first time I was told this is probably 6 weeks ago and then 2 other agents told me a week after that it never left the National BC and then yesterday I was told again it's in Washington FO

Congratulations to you and your family. my PD is 04/20/2023 RD is 11/29/2024 I am still waiting. The officer I speak to always say my case is with NBC. Really frustrating but we just have to keep praying and hoping.

guys I don't understand how do you know that or you just assuming @Ahmed Ah How did you know if that a local or non local FO as I didn't mention anything about it. @LarryMark Lanray Congratulations on what? and how did you know if I have dependants or not? just confused and thanks for your comments

I also have not get any updates after fingerprints but my PD is in June. People say that is a good sign that your case is in field office this means you passed the main background check and you are in final checking queue. so if you are not living in WA it means your case is in non-local field office and your interview is waived. I hope my information is true and be helpful

@in oon Thanks for the info. but I think the Washington field officecis in Virginia not in WA. still not sure however I live in the west coast but it still different state so I'm not sure if it is a non local but probably it is.

Because when I asked the agent they told me no agent would be able to give you this information. how other people knew that? any thoughts 😕

local means you should be able to go there anytime meaning it is in the city you are living! the time of your approval depends on queue of that FO.

@Younes B my PD is 10th March 2023 and I files 14 Aug 2024. My case was transferred to non local office in March 2025. I do not have any update from that time. I don’t know what can I do?

@Mohammad Ebi we're on the same boat. I was told recently just to wait. but how did you know when your case was transferred to FO. when I asked about it they told me that information couldn't be given

@Younes B I chat with live agent. You are right most of the agents do not tell anything and abruptly close the chat. It is by chance that an agent give you an update. I have tried so many times after that they said your case is under process.
