Hello Family , I relocated to another state and transferred my case which interview was already scheduled but it was cancelled due to the relocation. I didn’t receive a notice from uscis about the transfer and had to find out through Emma. It’s been 7 months and I’ve still not heard anything. Is this normal and what can I do about this?

A 7-month delay after relocation and interview cancellation can happen, but it is long enough to follow up. File an address-change confirmation if you have not already, then submit a service request asking for rescheduling at the correct field office. Also ask Emma/live agent which field office has the case now. If USCIS gives no meaningful answer, a congressional inquiry may help push the case back into the scheduling queue. - Attorney Rashmi Bishnoi (All information shared here is for general educational purposes only.
