No RFE?
Today marks 630 days since I filed the I-130 for my husband (in Canada). I’ve had no update from USCIS, not even a Request for Evidence. Is this normal? I’ve done a live chat a few times and have been told nothing is needed but I honestly find it hard to believe. We’ve been waiting almost two years, and since he’s outside the country we have to do consular processing, and I just worry we’re going to be waiting years longer because the next first update we get will be for more information.

I second @Lena P . you should try Congressman/woman to help you out. as you are a US citizen and your case is already outside normal processing time.

sue USCIS it’s will be pricey and you won’t get anything other than a decision but 630 days + is crazy

@Lena P I didn’t file a 485 because he doesn’t live with me in the USA. He is in Canada and I was/am under the impression that a 485 was only allowed if the beneficiary is physically in the USA
