@Az Ike try calling USCIS with info pass appointment.. I just did it and found that neither my 485 is in abyeance not anything on i360

@Battle Begins my first lawyer never filed for me. I waited one year and never received receipts. When I confronter her she told me "ouh uscis never received your case" and she took $5000. Please be careful 🙏🙏

I had same issues too. I filed May 2022 and till February 2022 I got not even a receipt. The lawyer did a bad job. They’d returned the application and the lawyer had no knowledge of it. it was too painful to swallow but I’m grateful. I got my combo card in December.

@Az Ike call this number 800-375-5283 and when the voice prompt asks you what you would like to do today; say info pass and keep repeating until you hear we are now linking you to an agent to answer you and wait till when someone picks the call. I would advise you to call very early in the morning like around 8-9 am so you don’t wait for long. Also have all your case number handy and the questions you want to ask them. Note: you can only ask 2 question per call and don’t be shocked if they say they can’t give you any info because it’s a Vawa case and you will have to write to Vermont. prepare your mind. and you can call on different days because sometimes you will get someone that will want to help and give you info and some that will just want the call to end and not be helpful. @Mrkvica M. yes I feel the same now she wants few documents and asking 10days to get the receipts.. but constantly m following up coz even I have RFE for i130 which she said don't reply as i360 is filed.. and my marriage based lawyer says it is necessary to reply RFE or else i485 will be denied.m all confused and done spending $ on this lawyers

@Battle Begins i would def call uscis and ask them what to do so you don't waste time with this lawyer if she is up to no good!
