they work on it, and then stop for 3 months. Of course the average per month will drop back, that’s so dumb.

how do i know wat category to check i dont understand the visa bulletin
M
Munawar SaeedAug 8, 2024
@Rosamaria zizumbo your application is not under a visa category which have limited number cap. your category have unlimited visa and you can get visa as soon as an appointment for interview is available after all documentation. for your visa category NVC normally takes 90 days after you are documentary qualified.
God's childAug 8, 2024
Preference categories have a limited number of visas per year and they must deliver them all before the end of the fiscal year wich is in sept so a this point probabily they are already running out. πŸ₯Ή

@God's child thank you thats why i was asking about the time frame of the interviews because i did not know if i had to look at the visa bulletin

Ask the person that applied for you to contact the state congressman, governor even the White House. Go to their website and contact them, explain the situation and they will get in touch with the USCIS on your behalf. That’s what my husband did and it worked. Good luck, God bless!!

@Rosamaria zizumbo your mom comes under IR-5 Category which is not under per country Cap which are shown in visa bulliten. For Your mom you need to check your home country embassy who is going to schedule the interview for that you can check CEAC NVC website where you filled DS-260 form and got documentary qualified. Your interview wait time depends upon the backlog at the embassy which is going to conduct interview. To check that Backlog you can call that embassy and ask them for the month they are working and ask them the expected date. as per NVC website they can schedule the interview within 90 days of documentary Qualified.
Rosamaria zizumbo Aug 10, 2024
@Munawar Saeed so then my mother's interview all depends on which month the embassy is currently working on correct so NBC for not scheduled interview until my month comes up is that correct
M
Munawar SaeedAug 10, 2024
Yes as per NVC website they schedule interview in order they receive cases after documantary qualified.
