no make sense we can’t get marriage

It’s so surreal that the VAWA process takes so many years and you can’t get married while your I-360 is still pending. You can’t move on with your life until they decide that you deserve to. How can that be considered normal? Waiting a long time for a green card is one thing, but having to wait five years—or sometimes even longer, just to be able to get married is crazy.

I mean you can you remarry now if you want to but your application will be revoked. just adjust your status through your new spouse…

@nick fred you don’t have to wait for GC approval to get a divorce. and yes you can get pregnant but you can’t get marriage. no make sense

absolutely brutal . you get 5-6 years older still not enough might be more . I don’t see what is the point of revoking it in case you get remarried no sense at all . now even if you get remarried and go through the same process there is a big chance you will be facing the same problem in your first marriage because of your status depending on the new spouse . if you don’t have your own status you will always have a big possibility of getting in a lot of problems . marriage is a lot more healthier if this doesn’t have something on you . we are over it .
