no biometrics, tire 2 agent didn’t call
hello everyone! it’s been more than 7 months since my PD (July 8th) and I still don’t have a biometrics appointment. I called uscis like 3 weeks ago asking for a tier 2 agent to call me so I could get an appointment, and last week I got the email/text saying they would contact me in 1/2 business days. today I get this email instead of a call:

Regarding the status of your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
After careful review of your inquiry, we determined that your issue will be best addressed by the USCIS office processing your case; therefore, we are forwarding your inquiry to the National Benefits Center. The referral ID for this inquiry is xxxxx. The National Benefits Center will contact you concerning your case once they have reviewed your inquiry.
anyone had this issue? experience? I’m losing my mind, I can’t even ask for expedition because I have no biometrics done. thanks!

@marcia try expedited your work permit it might set off the biometric appointment i see other people do it and it work so give it a try

national benefit center is the “center” which is working the application, and than further in the process they pass the application to the field office, for example, my service center is NBC, and my Field Office is Newark, NJ.

@ricka I tried! they said I can’t expedite after having the biometrics and it didn’t triggered an appointment, I did it like 2 months ago ;(
