does anyone know how long it takes after the interview to get your passport back? my fiancé interviewed since last month and we still haven’t received his passport. We inquired and it said something about administrative review. I’m worried cos I don’t know what is going on.

it looks like they hadn’t approved his visa yet, he’s under administrative review, you can be checking the status of the visa on CEAC case status to check when they issued the visa, when it said visa issue you will get the passport in a few days.

@Alina li they told him at the interview that he was approved but he needed to send them a document he mistakenly left at home. he took it there the next day.

@arike akanni how long did it take to get the interview from the day of approval? I’m waiting on my hubby’s I-130 still pd 2/23 Nebraska what was your timeline?

@Vero D it took forever to get the date. we did the fiancé visa.we applied December 2021, got our approval in March this year, and couldn’t get an interview till September.

oh so when they review the document he missed they will issued the visa, keep checking on the CEAC portal @arike akanni

@Alina li yeah, I just didn’t think we were gonna have to wait in line again for it to be reviewed. hopefully the review won’t take too long.
