Nigeria interview!
Hello,
My husband received his interview letter today for his IR1 visa in Lagos. The case was Documentarily qualified December 20th, 2022.
I thank Jehovah for giving us strength to get through this process. I pray Jehovah gives strength to everyone else who is enduring long wait times in order to be reunited with their loved ones.

Dec 20 was the day you got approved or the day you submitted all the documents?
my husband is in Nigeria and we are still waiting.

our cased was approved by uscis Dec 12 and sent to NVC.
is that the same thing? or is there another set I should look for.
all the documents were submitted to NVC

@val val 🇳🇬🇺🇲 It isn't the same thing. When everything is submitted and the NVC is satisfied, they will send an email noticing you that you are documentarily qualified. Has the NVC sent you that email?

@val val 🇳🇬🇺🇲 I don't know if you uploaded the documents yourself or if you have a lawyer... after everything is submitted including the affidavit of support it takes a couple of months for the NVC to review and send you the email saying you are Documentarily qualified. if you are doing it yourself. you need to watch the ceac portal for messages. they will let you know if anything else is needed.
after you are Documentarily qualified right now it is 10 months to receive your interview letter. They are making progress in catching up, so you most likely won't have to wait that long.
