next step after ead
Question.
So I just received my EAD card. It took like 2 days to arrive after updating to “card was produced”, what’s the next step in order to get a job, other than looking for one 🤣, According to the app I have to request the SSN, or does USCIS send me one?

It depends. You should receive your SSN card in the mail soon, proving that you checked the box in your I-765 form!
If you didn’t, I believe (please do look it up since I never had to do it myself I haven’t done the research) that you can fill out a form at your local social security office and get one that will be sent to you via mail.

it’s fast supposedly once the card has been produced. it depends on usps.
