I’m exactly same position as you. i751 in nov 2021 and n400 Nov 2022. San Francisco. what’s your field office?

applied in Aug 2021 at Nebraska field office. no further extension. status case received. applied n400 in sep 2022, no response either.

initial office for i751 was Vermont, then i751 and n400 were moved to NBC. ideally field office should be Long Island but I haven’t received any notification about it. I’m in limbo

@Alex lp be prepared for a combo interview. My case was the same. Transfered from Vermont to NBC and interview done in Long Island field office.

@Lavern lemond how long did it take for you to get the interview?

@Alex lp case transferred in May, interview letter sent December and Interview was February

@Lavern lemond so around 7-9 months. I keep my hopes alive then. it’s been years in this situation. thank you all for your answers

@julie lemus mine was challenging to say the least because of my case I had to file with a waiver so lots of questions

@Alex lp that is awesome. You may get interviewed for the citizenship first then for the other.

how did the interview go ? did you get scheduled for your oath ceremony Already?

@julie lemus she went with our baby . the officer saw them and said it wasn’t necessary to interview her. the interview was easy enough. nothing outstanding. he said that because I had I-751 pending he couldn’t give me approval that day, but I should receive notification for oath soon. that was 2 days ago. and today I saw the N-400 changed to oath ceremony scheduled.

im asking because im thinking if I should bring my husband with me, because i do know its not requested. how did the civic questions go ?

also where was your interview? i know here in new york so was it at the federal plaza in the city ?

he should go just in case. it depends on your specific situation . my interview was in Long Island field office. the civics test was easy.

mines is in the city. yes i do think I’ll take him. did they ask anything that you think was a bit hard to answer? anything personal or anything in details that they wanted to know? since they didn’t interview your wife that did they ask you about your marriage?

nothing outstanding to be honest. personal data that you fill in the forms. civic and English test and reviewed few questions from the forms, both forms and that’s it

my test was today i passed!!! thank God
