New card being produced
My I765 case status was updated to new card being produced today morning. I called USCIS and spoke with agent to confirm it. He informed me that it just means they ordered new card and doesn't mean that my EAD is approved yet. My question is- is there anyone whose EAD was denied after the online case status updated to " new card is being produced"?

lol what? I would not even call them to confirm, and apparently they have no idea what they are doing, I think it means approved!

@Bee S: thanks. I hope it means approval too. @ceara klapp- service center is Nebraska (LIN..), expedite request on Dec 29 for healthcare worker new application, have been unemployed for last 6 months

@praygod OMG…..my status EAD changed from “card being produced” yesterday to both EAD/AP with “case was approved” today. I don’t know what any of this means anymore

Your case will change to approve in the coming days. you will receive approval notice in 4 days . I hope this helps

It means you’re approved and your card was ordered, next it will change to case approved, then card has been mailed then card picked up by usps w tracking info. Congrats

@ g p: they never asked me for any evidence. My case status changed to " we have received the additional information we requested you" on January 10 to " new card being produced " today. I never got any request for evidence and never submitted any evidence. Although I have job offer and they were willing to write a letter

Hi, did you receive the notice “case is being actively reviewed”? If yes, how long that status?

@ S S: I did not receive " case is being actively reviewed ". Only two status that I mentioned earlier

@emmanuel here’s my ead mail dates: 1/8/22 new card being produced 1/10/22 case approved 1/11/22 we have mailed your card 1/12/22 usps has picked up your card (tracking number) w eta: 1/15/22 Signed up for usps text updates Went from Kentucky to Tennessee to CA arrived at postal regional distro center this am. Hopefully will receive tomorrow. A day early Hope this helps some folks. Good luck
