Need your advice guys
I recently downloaded my tax transcript online in preparation for my interview and discovered the address doesn't correspond to the one I currently share with my spouse.
I have to be on campus as an F1 student in order to attend my classes in person. I therefore keep two addresses. The one where I reside with my spouse and the one that is two hours away from the college.
When I asked him to use the address I share with my spouse, he actually used my campus address because that is what my company had before I got married.
Due to some reasons we filed married filing seperately.
Do you think this poses any problem?

Hi! I had a similar issue with the address since we filed it to a different home rather than the one we are living right now. The option is to send an amendment which is 1040-X and tell the reason below why you're filing your taxes again. Since it's a marriage based greencard it is best to have the same identical address. Hope this helps!

i have my interview in 3 weeks. Is there enough time for this?

I have mine next week and filed it yesterday! You can look into Google. It is legal to file an amendment within three years from the original filing date!
