no it’s not since they have approved your I-30 it’s not if your marriage wasn’t in a good faith they wouldn’t have approved the I-130 so you are good to go pay a lawyer to fill motion to terminate the removal order

how long did it took you to get approved for the I-130

@leo kudos I found out his removal order was in another city. so I need to hire a lawyer in that city to re-open it first before my local attorney can fill motion to terminate it? I’m confused

@leo kudos and also Leo, this removal order has been more than a year. I don’t know what stage he is at, like if he is at removal proceeding or deportation. Would I or the lawyer request for that removal report? and do you know how long will it take

xixi w it doesn’t matter you can be on pending I-130 and your removal order will be more than a year they will still cancel so far your I-130 is approved go get a lawyer Asap I’m on the same problem removal order but my lawyer told me once I get I-130 approved she will get it terminated Asap they don’t have option only option they have is either they terminate it or they keep it pending which allows you to file for the green card application but if you got denied it become active again

any immigration attorney can work on your case it doesn’t matter the location because immigration is a federal issue

@leo kudos thank you for your advise. Some lawyer told me to open it in Dallas before she can work on my case which confuses me a lot. And they will need to request a full A-file to see the whole report why he was in removal order right ? and how long did it take you to have it? I’m seeing an attorney this Friday. BTW, does it mean while the removal order is active, it’s not safe for him to go out? like I see news about ICE catching people everywhere….

he should stay out of outside activity but if he did commit crime they will come for him. if not they won’t you should go meet a lawyer to reopen the case and get it terminated
