Naturalisation Interview Scheduled but no move on Greencard
Hi all, see my timeline attached. I have a pending Removal of Conditions case on my Greencard with no updates for a long time but I just got a Citizenship Interview scheduled for August 31st.
Is anyone out there in similar situation? Should I worry about my Greencard case at all? Do I have to come with my husband to the Citizenship Interview as I would for Removal of Conditions?
Thank you. #citizenship #greencard

Ah I see! Having someone in the same situation is def making me less stressed. We did an interview for the initial 2 year GC too yeah but I’ve been told on Reddit to still bring my husband just in case they wanna do a combo interview. I just think they should notify you about such plans beforehand… oh well.

Passed the test, and my lovely officer managed to squeeze me in the last Oath Ceremony batch. I have my Certificate of Naturalization now and applying for passport next week!
I brought everything for the Greencard interview as well (including my husband) but decided to go in myself when called. I mentioned Greencard and that my husband is there to come in if needed, and the officer said I’m good and proceeded with the civics test.
This was at the Newark, NJ office
