Name truncation in EAD and SSN.
I received my EAD card and SSN. My First Name length is 19 characters. EAD is allowing 18 characters and SSN allows only 16 characters in First Name field.
So there is First Name truncation in both EAD card and SSN.
I have e-verification process with my employer next week. I understand the details I fill in the i-9 form(FN , LN etc) will be verified against DHS and SSA database. It will result in name mismatch from SSA Database.
What issues it can cause to my employment when tentative mismatch happens. What can I do to resolve it as SSA office informed they cannot edit the name as the FN field is not allowing any more characters.

Did you try contacting USCIS?
Did you face any issue? One letter in my first name is missing on EAD.
