Name format issue (middle name merged into first name) need advice
Hi everyone,
I have a question about a name mismatch across my immigration documents.
On some documents (like labor/perm), the name is listed as:
• First name: [First]
• Middle name: [Middle]
• Last name: [Last]
But on Form I-485 and medical, it’s written as:
• First name: [First + Middle combined]
• Last name: [Last]
So basically, the middle name is merged into the first name on some forms.
Will this cause any issues with USCIS?
Is it okay as long as the full name matches, or should this be corrected?
Would appreciate any advice from people who experienced this.

it could cause a delayed processing time. most documents only use first and last name, and middle name is usually written as initial only. talk to your lawyer to get it fix soon
