is not a red flag not changing your last name, getting your husband last name does not mean anything, I did not change mine at all and my husband got his paper with no problem, they never even ask this to us!

ok thank you @Alina li I was just thinking as this process have me thinking all kind of thing I’m so so stress about this I didn’t file with a lawyer just someone help me with it but I don’t think he did a good job so I’m becoming so doubtful

it shouldn’t because that how ours are like and we still got approved and is now in nvc

i did not change my last name but we did not have any problem. but my cowerker's wife changed her last nam during process and it was huge red flag

my lawyer told me to change my name AFTER my green card is approved for some reason. I don’t think it matters. both of my best friends kept their maiden name… it’s normal now
