N-600 Certificate
Guys,
I applied for N-600 for my 2 kids and they got their biometrics appointments at the same day, but the Oath of Cermoney appointment was sent to only one kid? Should I take both kids to the ceremony and tell them they are together and get their naturalization certificate?
Does this situation happened to anyone? #N-600

congratulations, in which state you are? and Do your kids have US passport or you didn’t apply for it yet ?

in Chicago, IL. They don’t have US Passport they need to get tge certificate first.

I think I remember them telling us during my Naturalization that you can apply for your kids passport if they are under 16 using your Naturalization certificate. You can complete the passport application at the post office for them and send their birth certificate along with your Naturalization certificate because they are automatically a US citizen once you become a us citizen as long they are under 16 years old, if they are between the age of 16 and 18 then the I think they need the N 600.
The N 600 is proof of citizenship, and I think you should call the department of state and inquire about this process, but since you started the N 600 you should complete the process which provides them good secondary proof of citizenship.

oh that’s great, but I will complete the N600 process. The ceremony will be on July 21st and will apply for their passports.
