N-400
Hi friends, so I submitted my N-400 earlier today online and payment was processed asap. I do have a 751 pending but when I checked the receipt number the status said ‘your case is being actively reviewed and no further documents are required’ Is that normal for status to change so quick?

yes
Anthony AMar 26, 2022
your I-751 might be transferred to whatever field office is processing your N-400. Goodluck.
Waiting PatientlyMar 26, 2022
it’s IOE which is their online system I guess. I didn’t mail it but everything was done online. I got the receipt number in my email and it said ‘case received’ and then I checked 4 hrs later the status had updated to being actively reviewed.

ty Anthony, I hope it’s the same field office and agent who did my green card lol that was a great experience.
Waiting PatientlyMar 26, 2022
no I’m Vermont for 751
Waiting PatientlyMar 26, 2022
yeah both Vermont and Nebraska have very long wait times. My 751 has been sitting there for 13 months
Waiting PatientlyMar 26, 2022
in Vermont I think end of Jan/beginning of Feb 2021
Waiting PatientlyMar 26, 2022
I don’t know what month Neb is on but it’s 16.5 to 33 months With an inquiry date of July 2019 which is insane
Anthony AMar 26, 2022
Texas center for I-751. 9 months now. they are currently on May 2021 filers. I filed in July
Anthony AMar 26, 2022
I know Texas is 7-11 months
Anthony AMar 26, 2022
yeah Texas seems like the earliest date but they keep taking the date back. I’m hoping for a combo so I can get done with immigration
Waiting PatientlyMar 26, 2022
well I know all the citizenship questions and my hubby and I are still together of course with a child. All our funds are combined so I think I’m as prepared as I will ever be. I was super nervous for my green card interview and it was such a pleasant experience so this time I don’t wanna stress 🤣🤣
Anthony AMar 26, 2022
They pretty much go through your documents and might not ask for your spouse but have your spouse there with you. It’s just to make sure you are still married. nothing crazy.
Anthony AMar 26, 2022
you will be okay. the civics question is the most difficult part of everything. I’m also prepared for that
Anthony AMar 26, 2022
take everything. returns and transcripts. I’ll have both in case I’m asked and if I’m not I’ll just have it. trying not to give room for RFE or a no decision
Waiting PatientlyMar 26, 2022
I uploaded this today for N-400
1) savings account
2) checkouts account
3)brokerage files
4)both life insurance polices naming each other as beneficiary
5)Childs birth cert
6)child 529
7)car insurance
8)child schooling bills for both parents
9) car loan both names
10) all joint tax returns
11)credit card statements
We have so much other stuff like other life insurances/health insurance/dental etc etc but I think we over did it as is. I also make sure everything is on my phone and easily accessible including our ring account which shows us coming home together for years
Anthony AMar 27, 2022
doubt you can over do it. you can get your transcripts on the irs website
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
we just got the accountant to forward all the tax returns via email and attached them online. I figure it’s fine cause that’s how it was done for 485
Anthony AMar 27, 2022
you’ll need tax transcripts not tax returns. I believe that’s what’s asked for
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
yes tax transcripts, pardon me:-)
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
and I made sure we even paid what’s owing asap for taxes cause they can see it on my bank account too
Anthony AMar 27, 2022
@Mon if it’s the transcripts you should be fine.
Anthony AMar 27, 2022
@Mon for the N-400 I believe it’s transcripts that’s required. I’ve heard some people state they ended up having issues. you can get your transcripts on irs website and upload it as additional evidence tonight.
Anthony AMar 27, 2022
@mon I think there is a more precise stuff they can see on a transcript and it’s easier than the return. I’m not sure it’ll be an issue but if yiu can get it on IRS website and submit it I don’t think that’ll harm. better to have it than get an RFE
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
honestly I didn’t look that hard but on the first page I did see all his info. I wouldn’t worry about that too much about the sig, important thing is you filed
Karl njumaMar 27, 2022
how do you know the month and year that is currently been processed at your service center
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
I just paid everything at once. if you make payments I think you need to send a payment plan proof with irs (I saw this on N-400) paperwork today but not on 751
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
if you search 🔍 say example ‘751 Vermont’ you can see recent approvals people have posted. also uscis posts case processing times estimates but it helps a lot to recent posts by others who have the same type of app/same service center as you.
Reiv DMMar 27, 2022
@waiting I think is normal, I got my i751 approved on March 2 (Vermont) and two weeks ago I applied for N400, the same day day updated it on the system saying my case was received and then they reused my fingerprints, now I have the same status than yours. I heard that a lot of n400 case this year is getting the interview in 3 or 4 months…
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
that’s awesome Reiv, DM. Mine said ‘case received’ first and then changed to ‘actively reviewing’ so fast. I see on here n400 cases are moving fast too. Good luck to you and me! lol

Nebraska Needs prayer and hand of God……
T CALMar 27, 2022
I am Vermont too. applied on sept2020 i751 transferred to NBC
applied n400 on Jan2022 still waiting
P BrugelleMar 27, 2022
i filed feb 21, received and then still “case actively being reviewed.” Any additional updates. Potomac. I have my tax transcripts, but I have not filed them yet on my n400 account yet. And I just did my 2021 tax returns yesterday. Do you recommend sending a copy to USCIS online?
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
I would PG, why not
P BrugelleMar 27, 2022
Thank you, @Waiting Patiently.
Waiting PatientlyMar 27, 2022
