N-400 Interview Translator
Hi,
Hope some one has an answer to my question or have been through it so know the answer.
I found out today that my mother has the N-400 interview scheduled for end of April 2025 at Philadelphia PA and was wondering if I can accompany her to be her interpreter to translate the question to her native tongue as her English is not that great.
I searched and the answer I got is Yes but at the discretion of the USCIS officer.
Anyone who can shed some light on this matter is greatly appreciated
Thank you

No you cannot! if she need one it’s better to call USCIS and request one! however it’s a N-400 she shouldn’t be needing a translator for it!
