my vawa was approved July 29,2025 and green card approved November 17,2025

@clo clo Oh my goodness, you’ve been through a lot. It’s awful how they make people wait forever. We actually have almost the exact same timeline. I filed my I-485 and I-360 on October 22, 2020. My VAWA was approved on March 14, 2024, and since then there have been no updates on my I-485 — no RFE and no interview. When was your VAWA approved? And what did they ask you for in the last RFE?

congratulations. it took me around 8 months between vawa approval and green card approval during that time I used to call to uscis a few times asking why it takes too long

I apply in August 1 22 I have ss advance parole working permit I’m just waiting on the decision of the GC is already 1280 day and still nothing

mine was approved June 25 sep 10 I receive a letter to re do medical medical was received on sept 25 oct 25 card was produce and Nov 3 card was mailed card was picked up November 10. filed for my son abroad November 22 his case was approved Dec 31st transferred to dep of state Jan 13 Government pause everything

@Ni Ta My VAWA was approved in March 2024. I’ve submitted four inquiries so far through the congresswoman, but nothing has happened — my case is stuck. No RFE, no interview, nothing. My dear, don’t give up or lose hope. You’re not alone during this difficult time. So far, there are three of us in the same situation — you, me, and another person I spoke with. That means this delay is common; we just need some patience. I’m trying to keep faith that this will end soon. where is your case ? mine in Boston Massachusetts.
