what else did you do other than waiting ? did you try to expedite etc ? when were fingerprints taken ?

then your husband is a Permanent Resident and he ask for you on marry based over here and in about 3 Months you got the green card ?Are you living here in USA already ?

@Anne is homesick @xd20 xd20 my partner came many years ago on a student visa and we were married prior to applying for anything. I’m a USC

@dekar brown we really just waited. no expiditing, fingerprints were about 10 days following the request for biometrics. I think part of the reason it went so fast/without any hiccups is because my wife and I had been married for 5 years living together in the US before applying, so we had a pretty solid case

@xd20 xd20 New Mexico, I feel for the ppl in higher populated areas, although admittedly I have zero idea how any of the processing works. We got very lucky and I almost hesitated posting because I know it can be demoralizing for those who have been waiting long. Best of luck to you going forward!!
