my marriage based petition was denied today
I have filed for vawa last year April, I just divorce my abusive husband in may 2024, I received a mail today from uscis that my application i-145 was denied on marriage based petition, will this denial affect my vawa that has already been filed.

you needed to notify them immediately you filed for vawa. if not that’s why .once your vawa is approved you can file another i145

that was what we did before now, I wrote the field office twice and they acknowledged it I told the field office to stop my i130 and transfer my i145 to vawa
