My lawyer sent the I-485 on the 24th of January
Hi to all, My lawyer applied for I-485 on the 24th of January I have an approved I-140 , what is the current timeline, when should I receive the receipt notice and the biometrics appointment? thanks

Your date is not current. check the visa bulletin for February. mine is Oct 7 so we are close. they filed mine in October and I got receipt in 5 days and biometric appointment for the day after Thanksgiving.

the visa bulletin for February says the priority date is 3rd 01FEB23 I am from South America

@Nomaq Visa You need to look at the "Final action date" table not the "Dates for filing"

oh ok I see thank you very much, that means that I can only get approved once the priority date is current correct? but it could be applied.is it normal that I have not received a receipt notice by now ?

receipt notice normally 2-4weeks

my pd is september28 but there is no biometric appointment yet. is it normal ?

We filed Dec 27 2023 received appointment notice 2/1 for an appointment today 2/12
