My K1 petition was approved 10/1/22 my case still is not entered into the system or have a case number. I’ve sent inquiries to no avail, and 90 days is up on Friday!?! Has anyone else taken this long

Mine was approved on 8/9/2022 I'm still waiting for my welcome letter. They did sent me a letter back in October with the case number. I've done case inquiry and they don't respond to any of them. Yesterday I did another inquiry but nothing yet. I'm working with one of my State senator office and they have been helping me out. The only reason my case is moving along is because of them otherwise my case wouldn't be approved, that's my believe. #k1 #NVC

I live in MS and I’m marrying a Nigerian. If they knew an Africa was moving to MS they would probably boycott it! I don’t have the luxury of contacting my Senator 😫I’ve gotten nothing since October 🤦🏻♀️

Finally got the case number on 12/28/22… hopefully will be going into transit soon!

@ Wendy keep checking the status since you have a case number now. My case was at the embassy for more than 2 months and I didn't know. If it wasn't for a group I joined they been amazing guiding me with the steps.

@Felix Lacayo NVC created a case number in their systems on Sept 29. My State senator representative contacted NVC and I had a case number on October 14. I received the welcome letter my mail on October 31 the case was sent to the US embassy in Santo Domingo on October 25 but I didn't know that it was at the embassy until Friday Dec 30. It was very confusing to me because I thought that the letter they sent would be more explanatory. One thing was that they had not reply any of my inquiry. Dec 26 I did another inquiry and I received a response on the 27 telling me it was at the embassy since October 25. I would tell everyone who has a process going get on a group. The group are very helpful because a lot of them are doing the same and they give you guidance. Don't give up. Good luck everyone.

@SamMax it is a WhatsApp group with K1 & Cr1 these petioner and beneficiary are Dominican. They are in the same process or have been and so they have a lot of good information and guidance.
