My Journey in a few words ( Pending I-751 to N400 interview )
I filed I-751 early November 2021. early November 2022 I filed N400. March 7 2023 my interview for N400 was scheduled. Yesterday April 21 I passed my interview with a pending I-751. the officer asked if I have a question after she gave me a paper saying I passed the test and that she is gonna recommend for N400 approval. I asked about the pending I-751 and she said it’s approved. and that in about 2 weeks I will receive the letter for oath of ceremony. she said I can invite family and friends if I wish.
I went with my wife in case, but the officer didn’t even ask her to come in with me in the room. I guess it depends on the case.
PS: if you’re eligible for citizenship, please go ahead and file.

@h hayley they actually didn’t interview me for I-751. she says it’s already approved.

@Tenesha B joint bank statements, marriage certificate, wifey birth certificate, tax return transcripts, my ID, our health insurance card, proof that we have been living together since marriage (lease), expired Permanent resident card, notice of action I-797 (which is basically the extension letter). that’s all

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing. I'm also a November 2021 filer, filed N-400 in February this year. Still waiting for both. Hope for a similar resolution as yours :)

@Olia Z thank you. your time is definitely coming soon. you did the right thing by filing your N400. some people think it’s gonna delay your I-751 when it’s actually not true.
