my i485 is once again in “case is being actively Reviewed by USCIS
hello folks,
I wanted to ask you something , I received an RFE to send my medical analysis by mail.
I did it and now I saw my i485 return to the “casa is being actively reviewed by USCIS”
if you can share your experience with me please.
fyi: my i130 has been approved last week.

@A K do you have the same situation ? my i130 has been approved last week and also I received the RFe to send my medical analysis in sealed envelope. I did it , and I saw people who were being through the same situation their case status change in “rfe response received” and then “approved” . that is why I don’t what I have to think about

It’s a pattern people see. When one’s I-130 being approved, and I-485 status updated being reviewed , that means someone’s looking into your file. If they approved your I-130, they usually approve your I-485 unless you have other issues they need resolving.
A lot of times, both are approved within short period of time apart from each other, however, you were sending your medical, who Chu means they couldn’t make decision before they received it. That’s probably why it takes a bit longer.
We all think, most likely, you’re close to being approved. But that’s not guaranteed because we don’t work for USCIS and we can only speak from experiences we learned from others. So good luck, hope you hear back from them with good news soon!

@S L uscis says i m in removal proceedings. but when I contact the immigration court to terminate or dismiss they say there is no case pending with A-Num .how to know or who to contact to clear this out . why it shows to uscis about removal proceedings when court doesn’t have any case ?

Hi! I-130 was approved, got the notice that i didnt indicate in petition whether my dad to apply for an immigrant visa abord at US or in the US., and if he stays in US i should send I-485 form, but this form was already sent with I-130 together. I confused and dont know what I have to do. Has anyone had issues like this?
