my I131 RTD was denied after I got my green card
my green card was approved last week , but last night I got a notification that my RTD was denied , I seen it happen to other GC based in asylum people, please if anyone experience this i would appreciate some help idk what to do . I been waiting for a year for it if I re apply I would have to wait another 14 months ?

do you have any idea of the reason why? why don't you call uscis right away to try and find out why first before you even consider applying again? @saul osorio

do you have valid travel document before you apply? some case denied if you still have unexperie travel document, because you have to send it back to USCIS with your new application, I can't find another reason for denied ( keep in mind have defrint between reject and denied, reject because your error with document or application, denied because you not eligible)
know why then re apply. good luck

hello @Immigration Guy @Elbertk aprilth @ed wl @Alex B @O M I want to give you guys an update looks like my lawyer made the mistake when they file they applied for AP not RTD and that’s why it was denied when I got my GC now I’m gona have to re apply and wait another 15 months 😭

@saul osorio what!! this is unprofessional lawyer uncaring!! how he made that stupid mistake!
anyway you don't have to wait for green card to arrive, apply now for travel document try send paper with the application explain what happened to the previous application hopefully they will help you with expedited your application, another thing I like to say don't use lawyer for make application it's very simple 2 pages you can fill it out in less than 3 minutes!

@ed wl thank you !! I’m doing it by myself this time and yes it is very easy simple application idk how they got it wrong . I was thinking on trying to explain what happen to the first aplicación as you metioned but idk if they would care because it want their mistake . also I get my green card last week I’m very happy about that :)

@saul osorio congratulations 🎉 your Green card , yes do it by yourself attche your reject copy of your previous application also explain what happened and say to them if you have emergency travel may will expedite your application, good luck.
