My I-485 ranking moved to 1st
my I-485 ranking on lawfully just moved to first. how long should I expect before my case is approved? I’m employment based EB2 from the Nebraska center. thank you!!

I'm confused, your PD is Mar 2020 but submission is April 2021? What was submitted on April? Or whats the difference

perm was filled in March 2020 but my employer received an RFE on the perm which was only approved early 2021. I filled the I-485 documents in April 2021

ranking is based purely on candidates who had receipt dates around the same time as you. I think it’s grouped by month. This might just indicate that you are a pending case with the earliest receipt date in the month (compared to others). There is no guarantee the USCIS will process in that order but it’s better to be 1st than last. Good luck

but that data is what is collected from lawfully . there are so many people with applications not on lawfully so the ranking and predictions is lacking enough data point

thanks Vic, I understand that. I was just wondering what other people’s experience had been once their ranking started improving. I was curious to see if someone had been in the same situation and how long it took for their application to be processed at that point.
