My green card was approved!!!
we had the interview on the 28, in the San Antonio field office in TX. She asked: when we got married and where did we meet?. how I got in the country and if my visa was expired?. after that she looked at her computer for like an hour without talking to us. it was really stressful. she also asked why I didn’t renew my F1 visa( which is the visa I got here with) and I told her the reason. at the end of almost an hour in a half she said she needed to confirm with her supervisor if she could approve the case since I overstayed my visa. and that it would take three weeks for us to know.
Yesterday I got the notification that it was approved!!!
so much relief after finally seeing it was approved.
Good luck everyone yours is close!

Congratulations. But that officer might not know about an F1 visa. It's not the same as a tourist visa, so there is no such thing called overstay on F1 as long as you maintain the status and I-20. Regardless, congratulations, and hope my case will be fast and smooth too!!
