call your local ssn office and make an appointment to apply for one .

SSN normally arrives separately

go to the office with the ead and apply for it. mind never arrived after a month I called and they said uscis never sent over the information

they are not issuing SSN along with i765 anymore you have to now make an appointment with local office and provide documentation. good luck

@p man the same thing happened to me. apply online line at on the Social Security website. but don’t book and appointment. they were giving me June 16 for my appointment but I walked in instead and got through in 20 minutes

how long after approval did you get your ead card in the mail ?

@E L I got mine in hand 5 days after. I guess it all depends on usps.
