I’ll suggest he email them a copy of his appointment letter explaining his situation. Who knows, they May consider him.

Kingston is the only place contracted with the U.S. embassy since covid. he would keep his appointment for now and you can try checking to find earlier dates because sometimes people cancel. but he would have to do medical after interview if not. they’re going to give him his passport back with instructions on how to drop it off once medical is done

scooby do you have any idea which f2a priority dates the Jamaica embassy is working on now am lpr filing for husband priority date 2021

@shola fairclough I'm not sure because I started my dad back January 2022 then my spouse that September 2022. my dad dq in June 2023 then my spouse in October, and they both got IL 11/21 with the same ID and time

So thanks to everyone. I spoke with someone at the hospital that does the medical. they said that the embassy are aware of the issue with having no dates available. So they are to both go to their interviews on the schedule date and time. then the immigration officer will give them back passport for medical and other instructions. Jamaica needs another facility to complete medical. Can't be just one for the entire island

@scooby diva43 how long after your dad priority date did you receive date for interview? my daughter case will be 1 year next 4 days ohh it's in Jamaica as well

@meka T I started January 2022 for my dad. January 2023 rfe needed submitted all proof he's my dad and been a part of my life March 2023. April sent to nva submitted all paperwork June and approved same month. interview email November for interview January and medical after interview.
