moving after the I485 interview before we get an answer
Hey everyone,
I have been on a status of Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed since Jan 2022 , and my wife got a scolership in a school up in Ohio she want it so bad for the longest time, and we filed it back in OCT 2020 in Houston, TX
Anyone had any experience like this !! I am so afraid it would collapse everything we waited for really, and I really don’t want to hold her dream more than this, we have been in immigration cases since end of 2016 and her life is been so messy because of the case since then.
Any recommendations or silmilier situation

I applied twice for an info pass and never got a respond, but I am afraid if I move out of state that would move the case to OH and in that point I would have to wait another 4 years until they prosses it, do you mind me asking you move between crates or just inside the same city ?

My case was F2B, so family but not marriage! I have moved to a different state after about a year of the interview that I had in the first state and no decision was made at that time and officer was not so nice. Then after I moved to the different state, I change my address, but as Reaching my goal says that is not always go through even I received a letter of confirmation. However, I found out that my address has not been change after chatting with Emma, then I requestd a change of address one more time through the system. shortly after I received a notice for another interview with an amazing officer and was approved on the same day! so, moving was the best thing that happened to me! tha k you Adam that was a great advice, since lawyers told me that would cause the case to move to a different immigration center and they might start all over and they might do another interview also, so overwhelming really.

what a stressful bath we have to make things in a good standing, I really want to move to Ohio and leave the address in Texas and really hope that’s not a bad decision since really I can’t go through this case longer than this, 7 years is not a short time to cut out of my life with immigration really
