nothing really you just have to wait on there response just hope they don't want further proof from your homeland

you do not have a divorce certificate bcos you are not divorced. They accepted your response. But be sure somehow at the interview some questions might come up to confirm your response. I do not think you have anything to worry about.

@ricka mc you can not prove what doesn't exist. They do not have a divorce certificate. How do you prove that?

thanks Jackson for the reply, I just can’t wait for the interview day to answer any questions I have been married once and that is to my wife , and my wife who is a us citizen is only married once to me . I will also have to go with the old I 130 form and the correction I 130 that the lawyer sent to them to correct the mistake . I am not happy becuase this is gonna delay the process and my wife is heavily pregnant she will due in March 2022.

you most likely would be approved in the US, but when you get to the embassy at the consulate, that’s when/ where you’d face it/ be grilled. you’ll be asked a series of contradictory questions because they’ll try to confuse you so you can make mistakes or contradict yourself, but pls stick to your gun, rehearse and remember every of your words and statements. good luck man.

@Andy olu thanks , you’re right I will stick to my gun , I have had a past experience with embassy when living in my country of birth than in 2016 , My cousin invited me for his wedding I applied for a visiting visa nonimmigrant for my cousin wedding who is late now , after filling the application online I went for the interview twice and I was denied twice in the space of two months and I remember I was asked if I am married than and my answer was NO and the second time I was asked the same question and my answer was NO. I pray they still have the records on their database just that am making use of an Italian travel document now which is a passport.

hi. you can proof that you ever never married before. if I was you to save time just in case they asked, I would request paperwork from your homeland to proof that you was never married. the same happened to me. because a therapist made a typo mistake, USCIS wanted me to proof how many times I was married. I had to go to vitals records and get a copy of all my city hall transactions as far as applying for a marriage certificate. Also, because I left my country of origin after I turned 18, I had to get my vital record from there to showing i was never married in my county. hope this help.

@Sandrine Andrade-Cardoso thanks for Information, I still have a copy of my bachelor certificate that I was never married before I got married to my wife because you have to present this certificate to the law court before I can marry my wife , I still have a copy of that Cerificate here in Italy . I don’t know if this will be enough if they ask me to proof .
