missing apartment number
To everyone on here who has recently been approved for their greencard make sure to reach out to uscis via phone, say “info pass” in order to speak to an agent then request the tracking number for your greencard that is if it said card produce and the tracking number is unavailable on your uscis account. I did this today only to find out that uscis has magically left my apartment number off of my greencard and the post office was unable to deliver. All the notices i received in the past showed up with my apartment but not this.
I had to rush from work to the post office to collect my greencard.
Thank god it was still there!!! So guys dont wait the recommended 30days call them immediately once card is produced!!

@ no, my greencard was approved August 10th, the card was produced august 19th( 9 days after approval)
It was delivered today two days after (aug 21)by USPS.

@Anita Anita the number is 800-375-5283 it will ask for your receipt number. Once given you say info pass and you’ll be connected to an agent

@Denis da Silva call them and verify your mailing address. If your address is insufficient they wont deliver it. They will also destroy the card after a certain time if there is no response.

@beth m you are welcome. Its good to be on top of things so you can track your greencard in the event something should happen you can go pick it up from the post office

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 they asked me the yes and no questions from the i-485. If I worked without authorization etc, where i got married husband date of birth. Basically what is on your i-485 application. Then he ask for our joint documents. I gave him all the ones I had already submitted ( lease, bank statements, energy bill, life insurance) and a few others (car insurance and health insurance)

@Mrs T you can call uscis at the number i posted above. They will have your tracking number. You will be able to track it and see when it will be delivered to your lawyer

@Mrs T mailing address thats where the card will be sent. So seeing that you are using a lawyer it would be the lawyer’s address

@Mrs T thats fine the tracking number is only to track it as to see when it will be delivered to your lawyer. U are not changing anything on the address. You just want the tracking number to follow the progress or you can just wait and see yours should be fine seeing that you used a lawyer
