Military spouse living separate
Hi everyone!
I’m a military spouse & my husband is stationed in Denver while I’m in MD because he wants us close to his family here. Does anyone know if that would be a problem when we’re called in for an interview? I hope there’s consideration for military spouses 🤷🏾♀️

@the Grey @Emmet D thanks for your answers. We got our apartment together & both our names are on the lease document

You should be fine. Just make sure you bring enough proof that there's an ongoing relationship with your spouse and his family. After all they are the reason you're in MD, right. Because he wants you to be close to them, so when you give that as a reason for not living together, in my opinion you should show evidence of your interactions with the family. You wrote us, so does that mean kids? If so, then there's more reason for you all to want to be near family to help each other. I don't think the officer will see this as something negative.

We did not. I only filled out that he’s military and attached documents to prove it
