what’s up brother,I’m also in the military 🫡, unfortunately I have looked and asked about any “benefits” we might have, they don’t, the only thing they seem to care is when your are trying to get your citizenship. I filled for my mother and it got approved last year, but we are still waiting for NVC to send us an interview. Literally the last step… My advice be patient, and check for updates monthly, that way you don’t burnout checking for new emails or updates everyday, because trust me I did and it’s not good for you specially if you already have things to worry about, trust the time and be patient! 🫡

@justin — thanks for your input. I was told the same . no benefits for our immediate families. How long did it take your moms to be approved ?

it took 11 months to get approved, after it got approved we waited a month and got the welcome letter by email not by mail. it took us a month to complete all the documentation and since then we are waiting for an interview

oh ok thank you for the information. Mine just clocked 10 months and nothing yet from them . hoping to hear soon from them
