medical/vaccine- pregnancy
Hi guys,
I am currently 5 months pregnant I went to do my medical for immigration purposes as my interview is next week. I was told by the surgeon I need to take mmr and varicella vaccines. I made the appointment for today,, as well as I did a sonogram this morning, My sonogram was 2 hours before the appointment. I was speaking to my Ob and told her I am going to do vaccines after I leave her facility. she immediately Advised me that while pregnant am not supposed to take mmr or varicella, I call the surgeon who is going to Complete my medical report he indicated to me that if I didn't take them he will not be able to complete it. I keep on saying to him I am pregnant he got so mad and hung the phone up on me . I drove to his practice And demanded to speak to him. He sent his secretary out I have been here for 3 hours And has still not come out to me. I already paid him my money. I callesback my Ob I and she wrote him a letter so I am just waiting for him to complete it can you believe it.!!! 😥😥😥😥
I even went last Monday to an urgent care and the ran out of vaccines or else I'd have taken them. 🙃

don’t take it! I was pregnant at the time doing my medical and the dr told me I can’t get vaccinated and he completed the form indicating I was pregnant

I'm sorry to say this, the doctor is selfish and not considerate of someone being pregnant and not medically ok to be vaccinated. He should know this better. I guess he has motives for wanting to make sure you get that vaccine. Whether you take it or not, how does that even affect his practice/license?😏😏

don’t take the mmr vaccine while ur pregnant be careful

@sherry, I didn't take it he let me wait 4hrs before I got through. I recorded all our calls and everything he said to me this morning.

@Good Citizen, he didn't even come out to me, I don't know how he looks. but he owns the practice.

@NH I was adamant, I didn't take it. I know God is working, because this morning I went to the appointment to take it and they ran out and referred me to another place that told me 600$ since I'm not there patient which I was willing to pay ,🥺🥺,, it was at my ob I casually mentioned it and was advised not to take it !!!

There's a part on the medical forms that they can mark that says not needed or something like that. Report him to immigration and whoever is head of medical practice ask your OB how to report him trying to force vaccines that can be dangerous to your health in your conditions. God got your back

Report him to USCIS. i had a green card medical exam today and the surgeon asked me if i’m planning to get pregnant before giving me the mmr. i told him that i have a baby and i’m breastfeeding. he made sure it’s okay to get the shot while breastfeeding but not okay while pregnant or planning to be.
